Gas Station Suppression Systems

Modern gas stations are designed with high-speed self-service pumps to allow customers to efficiently fuel their vehicles. However, the same equipment also makes the fueling area more susceptible to fire.

Risk of a fire may occur by:

  • A fuel spill caused by a customer driving away without returning the nozzle to the dispenser
  • A fuel spill by a customer incorrectly using the dispensing equipment. Modern high volume pumps can discharge a large quantity of flammable liquid onto the fueling area quickly.
  • Burning cigarettes, running engines, sparks and other heat sources could ignite flammable liquids or vapors in the fueling area

Pitts' Fire Extinguisher is a authorized distributor of The Attendant and The Attendant II gasoline station suppression systems by Pyro-Chem.
