Restaurant and Commercial Kitchen Suppression Systems
Modern cooking oils, non-trans fat oil and greases create a higher risk of fire in commercial kitchens. Is your kitchen protected against fires and compliant with code?
Fires in restaurants or other commercial kitchens are usually caused by the Class D or Class K fires (due to the combustion of metals or combustion of vegetable oils and fats respectively) and are best controlled by the wet chemical agents fitted.
Whether open flame cooking or flammable cooking liquid in your kitchen, there is always a risk of fire. Make sure you have a suppression system to put out and keep out any fire that occurs.
We recommend and are authorized dealers of:

Pryo-Chem Kitchen Knight II
The KITCHEN KNIGHT II Restaurant Kitchen Fire Suppression System has been designed for protecting kitchen hood, plenum, exhaust duct, grease filters, and cooking appliances (such as fryers, griddles, rangetops, upright broilers, charbroilers and woks) from grease fires.
The versatile state-of-the-art wet chemical distribution technique, combined with dual, independent activation capability – automatic fusible link or manual release – provides efficient, reliable protection the moment a fire is detected. Once initiated, the pressurized wet chemical extinguishing agent cylinder discharges a potassium carbonate solution through a pre-engineered piping network and out the discharge nozzles. The wet chemical discharge pattern is maintained for a duration of time to ensure suppression and inhibit reignition.
Expanded capability provides remote manual actuation, gas equipment shutdown, and electrical system shutdown. This optional equipment will enhance the basic system functions and be applicable when designing custom configurations to suit a particular customer’s needs and/or comply with local codes.

While the Guardian III is a unique, state-of-the-art, range-top automatic fire suppression system ideal for the protection of residential cooking equipment in light commercial occupancies, such as group homes, dormitories, day care centers, church kitchens, fire stations, break rooms, libraries, and civic group meeting halls.
When a stove-top fire occurs the sensor will activate at a pre-set temperature and signal the main CPU board. This board automatically sends a signal to release the extinguisher valve assembly, discharging the wet agent and simultaneously activating the CPU mounted alarm.
